How do I book?
Call, email, or text us, we can get you booked in with just a few details. It’s quick and painless!
How do I pay?
We always prefer payment by bank transfer to save giving the banks more money in their charges, however you can also pay on our website by purchasing one of the gift vouchers on our website. If you are a weekly pupil you will pay the school for your first block then after that your instructor will organise payments with you.
Do you offer payment plans?
We don’t do any finance arrangements however if you are struggling to find the full amount foran intensive course ask us and we are happy to discuss a payment plan. (Please note all courses must be paid in full 3 months before the 1st lesson and this is not available for weekly lessons)
Will you book my test for me?
If you book one of our Intensive courses we will take charge of booking your test for you, if you book one of our premium or Xtreme courses we also book your theory test for you.
I have an Intensive course booked, do I need to call and check on my test booking situation?
No. All you need to do is let us know once you have a theory pass and your certificate number and we will do the rest. You do not need to chase us as soon as we have a test booked for you we will let you know.
Where do I have to go for my mock test?
All our mock tests are conducted by a senior instructor from Sainsbury's Pound Lane in Thorpe St Andrew and will last around an hour. All our pupils will need to have a mock test to make sure they are at the required standard for the test or teh isntructor will not take you to test without as the DVSA takes issue with an instructor if a pupil is presented to test and not to standard.
How long will I have on my test day with my instructor?
On the day of your test you will have an hour with your instructor before you make your way to the test centre.
How long will I be driving on a typical intensive day?
Most of our instructors will do 5 hours per day with you, but you will always have the option to stop for breaks as and when you feel they are needed.
What's the benefit of a mock test?
This acclimatises a pupil to being with someone new under simulated test conditions and also allows the senior instruictors to assess test suitability of that pupil and support the development of the core instructor team.
Will there be another pupil in the car with me on my lesson?
No all our lessons are 1:1 in car with your instructor.
How long after my course will i have to wait for my test?
We aim to book a test around 2 weeks after your mock test, this will depend on test availability, however we are extremely successful in finding tests for our intensive pupils.
What’s the benefits of having multiple instructors for my intensive course?
We have found pupils that have their intensive lessons with more than one instructor are better prepared for their mock and test day due to familiarity of having different people beside them. They also get the benefit of the strengths of more than one instructor.
Can I still participate in your Young Drivers events if I am over 17?
Yes. As long as you have no on road driving experience you can still take part. These events are also good for someone that has a medical reason they are not able to get a provisional licence but still want to have some fun driving a car.
How many lessons will I need to learn to drive?
According to statistics the average person takes about 45 - 50 hours with an instructor plus around 20 hours of private practice to pass the test, however some pupils will need more than this and some need much less. It really is down to the individual.
